  • Lighted Headlight Switch Retrofit for Honda Pioneer 1000 - Plug-n-Play

    Part#: SWTC-0001-LLED-1

This is an upgrade for the nonlighted headlight switch found on 2022+ Pioneer 1000s and 1000-6 machines.

Some 2022 and 2023 Pioneer 1000 models come with a headlight switch that is not lighted, making it impossible to find in the dark. Here, we provide a solution by providing a rewired switch that will plug into the 4-pin connector on these units.

It is plug-n-play, but you must provide a common ground for one wire to function.

    Kit Includes:
    - one re-wired lighted rocker switch (4-pin connector).

    Fits

    • Pioneer 1000-3 Base model
    • Pioneer 1000-5 Base model
    • Pioneer 1000-3 Deluxe
    • Pioneer 1000-5 Deluxe
    • Pioneer 1000-6 Crew.

    Instructions:
    - Disconnect old switch,
    - Plug in retrofitted switch.
    - Green wire needs to be grounded.

Getting the switch out is a task. Some reported being able to work it out top and bottom with a skinny screwdriver or metal shim. Others say it requires the removal of the dash panel, which is a J.O.B.
We currently do not have or provide any instructions for this task.

    Great Upgrade!

Product showed up very quickly, exact size and fitment as the one I replaced. Very convenient being able to see the switch at night. I plan to add another one for my light bar.

I would highly recommend this upgrade. Change out wasn’t that difficult, only took 10-15 minutes tops. Well worth the cost for a backlit switch.

Simple plug and play. Works great! No more worrying about hitting the transmission switch in the dark by mistake!!

    I needed it.

Riding at night on the back roads, I needed to switch between hi/low beams quickly/ safely.
This snaps in pretty easily, video on YouTube.
